How to get there:

– By car: Access via A10 ring road, exit onto S100 (Zuid) towards Weteringschans. Nearest parking: Q‑Park Byzantium at Tesselschadestraat 1G—short walk away, Street parking is very limited.

– By public transportation: Take tram 2 or 12 to Leidseplein or tram 1, 7, 19 to Weteringschans (closest stop).

– By taxi: You can easily reach your destination by taking a taxi or a ride-hailing app.

Important things to know before your visit:

– Show your Rembrandt House Museum tickets at the entrance on your smartphone.

– The museum is partly accessible to people with disabilities.

– The main entrance, museum shop, auditorium, toilets, and exhibition halls are fully accessible to all visitors. Plus there’s an elevator in the new wing. However, the 17th-century house of Rembrandt has no elevator or other facilities available for disabled people and is therefore not very accessible.

– The museum is accessible to visitors with guide or assistance dogs. However, please note that the many stairs may not be suitable for every assistance dog. You may be asked for a valid certificate for the assistance dog.

– A gender-neutral restroom, women’s and men’s restrooms, and a wheelchair accessible restroom are available in the museum.

– By Metro: Take metro lines 51, 53, or 54 to Waterlooplein station. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk to the museum.

– By Tram: Take tram lines 9 or 14 and alight at the Waterlooplein stop.

– By Train: If arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, you can walk (approx. 15 minutes) or take a short metro ride to Waterlooplein.

– By Taxi: A taxi from Amsterdam Centraal Station to the Rembrandt House Museum will take roughly 7 minutes.

– Walking: The museum is a 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station.
